The Entry-Exit Route

Image
The exit-entry route looks similar. Like the arrival-departure terminal, they occur every day. But to mark 31st December as the mother of all All-nights where churches and members Crossover, Climb over, Crawl over, Jump over, Scale over, Sprint over, Run over, is tricky. Others Pray or Push  over, Watch or Walk over, Take over, Limp over, Jet over, Dive over, swim over or dance over is telling. Every day is special and thus requires us to soberly reflect on our lives, our attitudes. I am grateful for the gift of YOUR life. I wish YOU a blessed end of year and a blissful New Year. Stay blessed. Good evening 🔆 ©KYB✍🏿31/12/22

January to December

Image
From January to January, we've heard intriguing news about the jingles in our annual resolution. From January to February, we've heard frivolous tastes of our begging stakes as the Russia-Ukraine showdown started. From January to March, we've matched the transitional tricks of our Masters' shadows. From January to April, we've argued our approaches to advance the averse averages in our economy. From January to May, we've marvelled at God's marvellous mercies on our multiple moves to birth E-levy. From January to June, we've juggled and survived the trauma of needless perennial deaths in disasters. From January to July, we've had to jump-start our journey of jogging with our limping economy and the possibility of borrowing more or jetting to sign IMF's sore relief.  From January to August, we've adjusted the distasteful grief in our creed of greed which still bleeds the blessings in our nation. From January to September, we

It is a common ritual to conduct reviews, overviews, counterviews, and previews as the year draw to a close. However, it's been a year with a mix of blessings with highs and lows, some shocks, and some surprises. We might have heard strange news of some occurrences and yet we have braced the storms to come this far. And in scribbling or singing our gratitude, perhaps we need to look back with thanksgiving and look forward with hope. But do you still remember the beautiful goals you set for 2022? Do you remember the positive fantasy of your big dreams? Do you remember the several hiccups of our take-off? Can you recall the delay traps, which might have punctured our speed? Did we record some gains in these periods of uncertainty?  Or did we sublet our attention to other competing stakes? Did we put on hold our focus to attend to the bread-and-butter issues? What did we do differently to attain our goals this year? What role did we play in impacting our lives and

With the transportive 22nd missive in this 12 kicks, We live the kinky moments of another thrilling day. And though the holiday tides beckon a living message, We need to weave through our stories and thrive. So whether we are groping at the high or low notes, We must rekindle our zeal to transform and live. Stay blessed. ©KYB✍🏿22/12/22

Don't Lose Track

Image
The stakes in the spread of our stories maybe high. It might seem there aren't enough hours in the day. And our efforts maybe slipping through the cracks of our market trends, b ut please: • DON'T lose track of your tasks. • DON'T give up on yourself in these curves. • STAY CONNECTED and focused. With the extracts of tumbling confidence amdist some hiccups of haircuts in the market, and austerity strands staring in our faces, we need to reflect, review and revise our busket of spending during these times. Stay positive and have a blessed, Tuesday Good morning 🌞😚 ©KYB✍🏿06/12/22

In the country of others  we heard how beautiful bad omen and factions are working to improve. In the country of our heritage, we know too how the confederacy of our naked interests is bitting us in the groin. But in the aftermath of our blurbs and blurts of intentions, We rise again with a shinning ☀ conviction to excel. We rise again with a grateful blessedness to live the struggle of building the future we desire. And as we stand in the sunset of November's harvest, Our Thanksgiving would be incomplete without acknowledging you for having navigated these turbulence. Our gratitude note would not be complete without commending the Divine and all the people supporting you. You deserve commendation for meandering through the known Norths and Nevers of November. Thanks for remembering to appreciate the needful caretakers and the new people in your life. Thanks for your relisience and determination not to give up. May your secret prayers be answered. There are brief and long sleep, as well as satisfactory and adequate sleep, and deep or low sleep among other shades of sleep. Although good sleep is bliss, some of us do have challenges sleeping or enjoying the benefit of experiencing good sleep. While some of you are blessed with the ease of sleep, t he related benefits of good sleep cannot be overstated, And the challenge of not having enough of it can not be ignored in our lives. Our body makeup is such that we require a certain amount of sleep to relax, rejuvenate, repair and recharge our energy. Like any machine, sleep and rest are necessary and needful exercises for the good of our health. Though we know of some sort of snoring gaps in sleep, as well as some unhealthy sleepless insomniac attacks or dead sleep accounts; Besides thanking whoever cared for us or protect us while we sleep, rendering gratitude for the good sleep is in order. It is still important for us to be grateful to God for our ability to exp

It's lunchtime already, and I guess you are thinking of what to have for lunch. Well even as you settle on what to eat or warm that pack food, kindly remember to appreciate our farmers too. This is because it was rumoured the other day that the tip-giving habits of patrons at eateries have reduced drastically. Though this claim cannot be substantiated, it is quite awful that the Chefs/Attendants who prepare the meals or serve them get much praise and tips, instead of the FARMERS who toil to grow the foodstuff. It's even worrying to learn how much food is wasted in household kitchens, restaurants and hotels when preparing these meals. As we mark world vegetarian day, it is appropriate for us to reflect on ways of appreciating plant-based food and reducing the incidence of food wastage. The current economic conditions with increasing prices of foodstuffs demand that we collectively maximise the utilisation of food and reduce wastage to its barest minimum. By so

When duty called this morning, we moved. When the wheels of the evening crawled by, we returned. But in between the multiple processes of the day, Several stands of Music accompanied humanity, In the conscious and unconscious silent stitches of time. With the dancing exotic energy levels of the economy, You might likely have heard different lyrics of the anthem. And the nostalgic noise associated with our needs. While the songs might either be deliberate or spontaneous, With simple or sophisticated instruments arranged. It's vital to acknowledge the artists, musicians, composers, performances and everyone dedicated to rendering music. And though good music is still being served in all genres, Perhaps it's valuable to also embrace natural music brewed. Yes, Nature brews and sings to us in many sounds, pitches, voices, and breezes. After a hard day's work, permit me to recommend one for your relaxation. Keep the peace. Good evening ©KYB✍🏿15/11/22

Several seasons ago, There was a missionary whose dream and desire to serve, Brought him to the hinterland of the new nation. He came with the blessings of his people and collaborators. They left their comfort zones miles away to put smiles on many faces. By dint of hard work, courage, faith and consistent efforts, They established a health facility in the 60s. With dedication, the incense of this facility offered healing, comfort and relief to the afflicted. It offered employment, training, education, experience and an environment for people to live and grow. And yours sincerely was a privileged beneficiary of the shades of opportunity the health facility offered. Besides the health seekers and health workers, the hospital, and community became a melting pot for various activities. Farmers, food vendors, market women, drivers, teachers, pupils, relatives, friends, drivers, hairdressers, seamstresses, Christians, Muslims and Traditionalists, and the mentally chal

One vital reality about life is that, We have several access points right from the womb. They are essentially doors, openings, portals, ways or opportunities we need to utilise on our earthly pilgrimage. SxwwThere is a gate to every stage of our lives. There are those we know, perceive and don't know about. There are those that we discover, unearth or chance upon; And there are those that situations and individuals lead us to. But all this, the people who guide, direct, show or open these doors or gates for us to enter deserve mention today. The kindred souls who willingly open these access routes, and direct us to the opportunities and portals of new ideas or actions, deserve to be celebrated. As we continue to reflect on the subject of gratitude today, kindly convey gratitude to: • Our ancestors through whose toils we are here today • Our parents for giving birth, caring and nurturing us • Our guardians guided us on the course of life • Our benefactors wh

We do not know the time we sleep or what awaits each of us in our sleep, but we know we will sleep anyway. What happens between the time of our consciousness and unconsciousness as we sleep is still a mystery. Though I do not know what still stirs up HOPE in our hearts to believe in that beautiful tomorrow, Permit me to THANK whoever keeps watching over us in our state of sleep. Have a good rest. You may be right to call them friends or angels, or by the unknown names, you have given them. You might be betrayed or hurt by one or two to make you vow to discount them or be oblivious to their existence, But tell what, there are some valuable ones still out there in your network of PEOPLE. With the dancing equilibrium of our economy, It's a fact many are feeling the uneasy pinch of heat in different proportions. It is a fact that 'NOWHERE COOL'. But there again, these amazing SOULS among us come.  However turbulent the tides are, they come to lighten us up. In our low lonely moments, they come with their warmth. In moments when we are broken and grieving, they care. In times of vulnerability or fear, they breathe hope into us. They feel our joy and sadness, and make time to listen. They believe in us and go the extra mile just to support us. They are p ersistent and always show up at the right time. Their consistency makes us believe we can still

Good morning to you. I trust you had a good rest. Though some have a challenge getting good rest,  And because we are VULNERABLE in our sleep, It's relevant to render gratitude to whoever, especially the Almighty God for keeping an eye on us throughout the night.  Looking at how therapeutic a good sleep can be, perhaps it's still vital also to REMEMBER: • Our Caregivers- mothers, fathers, loved ones, and nurses etc, sacrifice their sleep to take care of the sick, frail, and those suffering at night;  • Our security agents who patrol our environs sometimes risk their lives to ensure our safety and security; • Our drivers and pilots transporting passengers or goods to their destinations/markets; • Our prayer troopers/warriors/angels or people interceding for us.  With a grateful heart, I wish you a memorable Monday. Remain blessed 🙏🏿🫐 ©KYB✍🏿07/11/22

It's often easy to take life for granted. The fact that we wake up every morning, could make us take the priceless gift of life for granted. Sometimes we appreciate life when the reality of our vulnerability is heightened during emergencies or critical times. Other times we are humbled by near-death experiences or by the suffering of our loved ones at hospitals or care homes. Reflecting on how we escape and survive to this day, Should remind us of the need to be grateful for our Lives. The fact that you’re still breathing, with your heart still beating, no matter how badly bruised it is, is one of the greatest blessings we should acknowledge. This is why I thank God for the gift of YOUR LIFE. Thanks to the GIVER OF LIFE for keeping you safe. Thanks to everyone (Parents, Health Workers, Essential Service Providers, Farmers, Chefs, Drivers, Janitors etc) through whose constant care we continue to LIVE. Thank you for being Alive. Gratitude Notes I

With all your smiles amidst the challenges in these miles, It is gratifying to have come this far with much enthusiasm. Though we learned to write thank-you notes expressing gratitude for any gift or support we received, These special-occasion gestures are deemed thank-you-worthy, but kindly permit me to share some simple gratitude notes starting today. This is to thank you, * Dear One, * for your faithful acts of service to people. Thank you for the positive and good intentions you hold. Thank you for helping that person the other day. Thank you for making someone smile with your efforts. Never doubt the difference you make in the lives of others. It’s great and so is the gratitude in this Little Note. * Please keep being your best. * Greetings from me to you ©KYB✍🏿03/11/22

Sole of Souls

Image
In every home, they lived in, In every community, they walked, We see their footprints on our streets. We remember their voices in our memorials. Though we may dislike or miss their mannerism, Some of us still bear the joy or burden of their names. Some of us are still tearing up at their sudden departure. But in the fleeting encounters of our transients talks, In the swift moments of our arrival and departure, Maybe we should pay attention to the sole of souls. Maybe we should reflect on their rich values and virtues. Perhaps, erecting lasting monuments in their name is worthwhile. As souls traversing between the gates and states of our sakes, we must act humanely and live appreciating life. I remember all the Souls who contributed to your being here. Greetings from me to you ©KYB✍🏿02/11/22

November's Novelty

Image
Several hours into the present, The novelty in November berths new energy, Breathing new norms into our normalcy. But in the sane sails of the Saints and sinners, In the context of the curvy contours of our currency, We have to be silently mindful of some trendy haircuts. So as you tap into the newness of November, As you render your Thanksgiving in our remembrance, May we make a list of what we want to do this month? May we make time to try a new way of self-care? May we find new ways to support the moves we care about. I wish you a Blissful new Month and a great day. Greetings from me to you ©KYB✍🏿01/11/22

October Moments

Image
In our goings and comings; In our dealings and efforts; In our quests and interests; In our styles and approaches, And through the journey of October, We experienced the mix-blessings Of modest gains and modest extremes. But can we forget saying our gratitude? Can we forget to breathe our Thanksgiving. I remembered to acknowledge you this evening. I remembered to commend you for your resilience. I remembered to thank God for the gift of your life and for seeing you through the Month of October. Remain blessed. Greetings ©KYB✍🏿31/10/22

Pillow Conversation

Image
Pillow Conversation You've seen the bliss and yet kept quiet, You've heard delightful gossip of smiles, You've witnessed the sentence of some dreams, Your ears are filled with meditation and prayers. When tough times come, you cuddle our tears, When raging storm blows, it is you we confide in. We offset tumbling questions in our snoring gaps, On your delicate ears, and yet you keep your cool. Besides bearing with some stubborn snores, Our pillows are therapeutic loyal rest mates, Still cushioning our light-heavy heads with duty. Through the long-short nights and short-long days, With a dreamy and dreamless rest, The pillows are like that faithful servant always at the post. They become playthings with friends tossing them, And a consoling partner during lonely nights. Yet they remain silently simple in their resting places. Whether it's pillow talk, pillow gossip, pillow secret or pillow conversation, it is worth appreciating our pillows.

I am grateful for our encounter. I am indebted to all those who contributed to your life, And all those who pushed you to come this far. I appreciate the efforts you make. And THANK YOU for making TIME to read. Thank you for reaching out. Stay blessed. Greetings #IamGrateful ©Kwesi Yirenkyi Boateng ✍🏿09/10/22

Gratitude to Our Teachers

Image
We often associate Teachers, Tutors and Lecturers with formal Education but there are mentors, parents, coaches, instructors, gurus, consultants, preachers, supervisors, musicians, specialists, leaders, writers or actors who inspire, provoke and guide us on the needful things to do in life. There are some friends, elders and strangers who teach us things that later help us in life. Since life itself is a learning process, may we learn to appreciate our teachers wherever they may be. To those excellent teachers who went the extra mile to ensure we were disciplined and remained focused, we appreciate you. They were those teachers we dishonoured in their attempt to correct us. And they were those we even pelted stones at for daring to straighten our wrong ways. And they were those who never gave up on us despite our troubles. Today, please tell our teachers, we are grateful. Tell them to forgive our mischievous ways for we knew not what we were doing. Tell our Teachers

3H Verses

In the innocuous 3H verses of Habitats, Homes and Houses, Is a subtle linkage between Cottages, Villages, Towns, Cities, Metropolis and Megapolis. While Minding the GAPS within the spaces of our communities and society, we have to also REFLECT on the growing need for healthy homes and houses for our development. Since today is World Habitat Day, it's appropriate to ask about your health and where you stay. Greetings from the City Republic of Gbawe. Happy World Habitat Day.  Stay Blessed. ©KYB ✍🏿03/10/22
