Through many miles of smiles, And the various stages of age, The line of care and kindness, Cannot be lost on us. And though our encounters may be brief, Permit me to share my gratitude with you. I am grateful for our encounter. I am indebted to all those who contributed to your life, And all those who pushed you to come this far. I appreciate the efforts you make. We have heard intriguing news of new beginnings from January to January. We were told frivolous jokes of our begging state from January to February. And yet from January to March, we've matched the transitional tricks of our Master's shadows. From January to April, we've argued our approaches to advance the averse averages in our debts. From January to May, we marvelled at God's miraculous ways of our merciless murky meandering moves. From January to June, we juggled and survived the trauma of needless perennial casualties of avoidable disasters. From January to July, we've judged the jingoistic limping of our economy with some jovial justification of why jetting off to borrow was best.  From January to August, we've adjusted the distasteful grief in our creed of greed which still bleeds the many blessings of our nation. Are there a people who deserve acknowledgement in our life? Are there individuals who inspired us in the past to have come this far? Is there any person who offered us a glass of water to quench our thirst? Is there a soul who whispered a piece of worthy advice into our lives that got us places? Is there anybody who sacrificed for us, prayed for us and saw the need to invest in our progress? Can we recall that person who helped us understand what we were capable of? Can we remember that citizen who helped us get back in the right direction? Can we recall that incident, event or meeting that inspired us to pursue our dreams? Is it possible to get in touch with them and thank them for the time they so generously gave us? From the North to the South, From the East to the West, and even in the centre and inner ghettos, we still meet and feel their warmth daily. There is no doubt we owe these souls gratitude.
