What are we crucifying?
The festive solemn story of ages, reenacted awakened same narratives. It's a painful page that precedes the joyful privilege we desire to reach. But permit me to ask: how often do we crucify the Lord for our lot? How many times have we crucified the Lord for our lose? How frequent haven't we crucified and betrayed ourselves, our relatives, friends and our environment for our desire to live? For the times we economise the truth and told harmless lies; For the several occasions we traded juicy-sour gossips; For the numerous moments we failed or ignored doing what we ought to do, we've crucified the very essence of our lives here. May God humble our bloated pride, replace our stony hearts with compassionate ones and draw us closer to path of love.
