The whistle blows and control is lost. Our eyes and hearts are glued to the ball, A sudden goal may lift us high, Like clouds across a summer sky. A cunning shot could crash smiles. But beyond the anxious words dribbling expectations, Beyond the teams exploit, and the mix feelings, Beyond the  thousand thoughts and talks of schemes, And beyond the commerce and commentary,  Football still mirrors our lives.  It takes the love we choose to give. For every loss that breaks our frame, We rise again to watch the game. The rollercoaster never ends. Through every twist that life extends, We learn to fight, to hope, to cope, And find within the struggle, hope. May we cherish our teammates and coaches, And may we appreciate the people who cheers us up and prays for us. Sending YOU my best wishes. I remain Your Number One Fun.
