Motherly Appreciation
We cannot express how it really feels to be a mother, neither can we fully comprehend what mothers go through to live their roles. But what we know about their specialty is humbling. We know a friend in them who is more than just a friend. We know a special someone who knows our faults but still loves us. We didn't choose these friends from the beginning, but we know how they have long accepted the duty to care for us. These friends are great duty bearers, who taught us how to walk and talk. These duty bearers are our first teachers in our homes. These duty bearers are just special friends we can't forget. We may disagree with some of their ways, but we can't pay them for their penchant to care. We may disprove of the way they provoked the lines in our hearts in their bid to discipline, deny or even detailed our desires, but we can't erase their good intentions for us. Today we celebrate you for not pampering our odd ways. We are grateful for all your care.
