Courage and Conviction
We all have high and low tides in our lives. Some shake our very foundation and threaten to sweep the happy waves from our comfort. But in all these ups and downs, Zimbabwe's former-Central Bank Governor, Gideon Gono, tells us that what the ship's captain requires in both cases is the courage and conviction to remain in the water, as well as the creativity to navigate out of the high or low tides. We need not fear but to compose ourselves and be resilient in our resolves. Sometimes we need to look within to for solutions, other times we need to reflect on some unconventional but sustainable means to keep our ships afloat.
