What's Your Interest?
What is your interest in life? What is your interest in that matter? Is your interest necessarily healthy? Would your interest inure to the good of our society? Interests abound in every society. We also have similar, different or multiple interests that keep teasing our sanity. There are individual interest, group interest, collective and national interest, as well as the divine and our ultimate interest on earth. These interests, which differs sometimes clash and causes friction, undue pressure and conflicts, intemperate squabbles, unnecessary disagreements, petty jealousies and also breeds unhealthy competitions. In rethinking our interests this day, in order to align it to the ultimate interest of our existence here, perhaps we should also decide to no matter the tradeoffs or compromises, we would not sacrifice the sanctity of our dignity in pleasing any party.
