October Moments

In our goings and comings;
In our dealings and efforts;
In our quests and interests;
In our styles and approaches,
And through the journey of October,
We experienced the mix-blessings
Of modest gains and modest extremes.
But can we forget saying our gratitude?
Can we forget to breathe our Thanksgiving.
I remembered to acknowledge you this evening.
I remembered to commend you for your resilience.
I remembered to thank God for the gift of your life and for seeing you through the Month of October.
