WHISPERS OF INSPIRATION

Intents and interests abound in every human activity.   Motives and motivations affect our moves.  Reasons and results guide our actions and activities in every endeavour. But in the missive missions of our manoeuvres we either ignore, or discard verses in our virtues. We sacrifice some sane sanctifying dictates in these dictum. We molest and murder the manifest glory in these graces. But where is the virtue in our values? Where is the honesty in our honour? Where is the truth in our thoughts? Where is the patience in our partisan patriotism? Where is the integrity in our innate intransigence? Till we find the virtues in our values; Till we wake the mores in our morals; Till we instate the sanity in our souls; Till we denounce the worship of our unworthiness; Till we praise the purity in our intentions and ingenuity; Till we punish the nerviness in our negligence; Till we goad the green greed in our growth; Till we stop celebrating the carelessness in our cheeky civility; And

Favourite treaties of our time lives. Fascinating treaties of our relationships follows our fancy every day. Fundamental treaties of our well-being continues to fall through Fridays. But what has our attitude towards these treaties been? What has our affections towards others been? What has our responsibilities in living the duties these treaties imposes on us been as a people? Have we been too hypocritical in accepting our failures in fulfilling what we ought to be doing? Have we been excessively deceiving ourselves of the care we have for each other or have we over abused the patience in the trust of these treaties? Or have we over professed our false piety in the name of loving the God of Ghanaians, while we selfishly sink a people's empire? Naked perceptions roam our streets daily. Noisy thoughts crisscross our minds every minute.  Narrow views too sometimes affect our judgement. However, there comes a time we have to interrogate our intents. There comes a time, we have to review some of the very things we are used to. There comes a time we have to allow old realities to die. There comes a time we just have to appreciate life and do what we have to for the good of all. There comes a time we just need to take unpopular decisions to live.
