Your footprints are imprinted on the hearts of many in different places. Your generosity to mankind has blessed many with dignifying smiles. You're on my radar today due to what you do to bless humanity. Yes, it  was yesterday we met but your support is worthy of note. Your thoughts and good wishes are very much appreciated. Your prayers and interventions inspires me and many to keep moving. Thank you for being there for me and many others, and for enriching my life with rich counsel. You're remembered in this month of remembrance, even as I echo my profound gratitude to God for the gift of your life. I am honoured to be blessed in sharing in the richness of your life. Thank you for allowing me the privilege to taste the soothing smoothness of your care. Be blessed abundantly. TGIF.

With feeble effort the frailties of the vulnerable, the infants, and the sick hangs in the balance. Although God certainly is our help and health, their role to our survival is very critical. The efforts of our traditional midwives or 'midhusbands' (Traditional Birth Attendants), and our professional Midwives, as well as the tender care of mothers through ages. The doctoring of Doctors in time of sickness or accidents and the commitment of our nurses nursing the pains of our gains with grains of inspirations is commendable. The efforts of the orderlies, cooks, security guards, administrators, drivers (ambulance drivers) engineers and Mortuary men who ensure our survival or passage here all deserve a special mention today. So to the caregivers who toil day and night to take care of our health; To the caregivers who tender our farms to ensure we get our food from the market; To the caregivers who prepare delicious meals for us, and all others whose little great efforts m

For no tangible reason that Wednesday, the lazy side in me felt school was boring and so yours sincerely just decided not to go. The plea and persuasion by my first teacher to go to school fell on deaf ears. So she surprised me, by giving me some tolerable spanks that got me going. There were several of those morning laziness that was properly dealt with then, and my gratitude to the teacher is eternal. The sense of responsibility, discipline, respect and care these teachers taught us is commendable. There are teachers we encounter daily, through many instances, and at different places and stages of our lives. God the Almighty as the greatest teacher Himself has through nature and Providence taught us many things. He has also inspired and qualified teachers in our lives. Some are our Teachers, Tutors, Masters, Lectures, Catechists, Godmothers, Godfathers,  Supervisors, Colleagues, Subordinates, Parents, Prophets, Preachers, Mentors, Authors and almost everyone. We grow with many memories . We age reminiscing the fraternal bliss of yesteryear. They include moments of encounter with comrades who's effect on us invoke smiles. There are a beautiful few who earned the enviable family status in our lives, While a painful lot have betrayed the essence of our true comradeship, but we've certainly learnt valuable lesson from them. To that confidant, gossip-partner, To the bosom comrade of hope, To those who silently remember us in their prayers, To the familiar friend who dares to speak into our lives and tells us uncomfortable truth, And to all those who risked their comfort, or went the extra mile just to show genuine care, please convey my appreciation to them. Please tell them this friend is grateful for their unique roles in our lives. This equally goes to you in a special way for your role in the pilgrimage of this son. Life is simple if we value the silent roles of people in our lives. Today, I just want to thank your family members for their role in your life. In counting our blessings, we have to remember their efforts, because I am a beneficiary through the support in helping you come this far.  Kindly convey my gratitude to them for their support in our lives.
