MY THOUGHTS ON JUNE 3RD
A year ago, we heard the wailing tears of mother Ghana. A year ago, we reminiscence the sad hot tears of souls. A year ago, we recount the needless death of our compatriots. A year ago, we mourned the rudeness of the floods and fires. We were surprised and stunned but we continue to be strange. It is sad we are here again, with little or no change at all. It is interesting we are still expressing those beautiful English of how we could not avoid what has happened and how we are still preparing to arrest what might happen in future. Never again should this thing happen again. Never again should we sacrifice the lives of our countrymen on the altar of negligence and ill-preparedness. Never again should disasters claim so many lives. Never again should a soul perish as a result of these perennial floods. Never again should we ignore the coughs of our rules and regulations. Never again should we be found wanting in the face of these disasters. Let's learn t
