A friend recently invited me to a purposeful meeting of like minded people but asked me to be keep an open mind. It is interesting what we think of others and how we want them to buy into our point of view all the time. But what is fundamental is that Our understanding of issues differ. Our perception of others differ, the same way the impression we give others about ourselves differ. And Archbishop Peter Kwasi Sarpong says that we often "condemn people not because we know they have done something evil, but because we don't know the truth about them. We are ignorant". We see what we want to see in people base on our different interpretations, conception and conjectures of who they are or who they ought to be. We are mostly ignorant of others we presume to judge, condemn and crucify.
