On free promises
The talk of freedom and Justice is good. But the promise of free speech, free education, free healthcare, free everything including free promises all the time is unsatisfactory. With an over hyped free system, our society has notoriously become too negligent and somehow irresponsible in living our side of the bargain to ensure these free things happen. That everything has a price means there's nothing for free and that there's a price we must pay, or some sacrifices we'll have to make. As a people, we must consciously also promote the discipline of a responsive and responsible leadership and citizenry. That way we can all enjoy the freedom and justice we clamour for.
