November Sky

The sparkling sun adorns the sky again. The beauty of another grace creeps up with it. A new energy stream again in the November sky. A new awakening births a promising day. Looking into the sky, we remember many events. In one moment, we recount the efforts of many souls. In another moment, we remember the sacrifices of our ancestors. In November we remember the arrivals and departures of men with valour. And we also remember the need for a heartfelt Thanksgiving. We may also remember the need to retune and recommit to our values in order to relive the essence of our purpose. May the blessings hanging above, never depart from you. God bless you abundantly. Greater Unity

We are all unique and have different tastes. We differ marginally from each other, We manifest these differences: In our daily dealings and efforts; In our quests and interests; In our affections and relationships; In our styles and approaches, In our families and communities, In our preferences and positions; In our cultures, parties, beliefs, and identity. And in our perspectives, understanding, and how we even practice our religions. Likewise, our needs, expectations, and experiences make us appreciate or value things differently. But however different we may be: Must we tell the world we fight terrible fights? Must we tell the world we cannot disagree to agree? Must we tell the world about our petty squabbles on air? Must we tell the world about the envoys of envy and jealousy renting spaces in our midst? Must we shout at each other with higher decibels before proving a point? Must we tell the world our mission is truncated because of mistrust? Must we tell the

TRUE LIBERATION

It was a forum of ideal ideas then. It was a gathering of Interesting interests. It was an assembly of thoughtful thoughts. It was a litany of contextual complaints. It was basically a forum questioning our questionable integrity. Sometimes, I don't want to believe it was another pertinent forum belittled by our pettiness. I don't want to believe it was another forum of concerns that does not compel a corresponding duty for a change. I don't want to believe it was another assembly that amplified our correct Anglicise eloquence of our challenges, and does nothing about the many cases of thievery and intransigence in our body politic. It's a bold attempt to confront a peculiar political question with seriousness; It's proper to talk tough or nicely about the hiccups in our democracy but tell you what, it's not enough to just describe these challenges with beautiful rehearsed English phrases. We must be more responsible and responsive in politics and issu

God Save Us

Is politics of pettiness our plight? Is politics of propaganda our interest? Is politics of patronage our bane? Is politics of pride our problem? Is politics of persecution our creed?  Is politics of pulling others down our anthem? Is politics of greed and corruption killing us? If politics of progress is what we seek, then let's work at it seriously. Indeed, if God is for us no one can separate us from His love. But if we continue misbehaving in our quest to attain   politics of possibilities, then we will perish in politics of naughty  perils. May God intercede and save our souls. May God be with us even as we walk in the path of politics of performance today.   Remain blessed.πŸ™ŠπŸ™ #KYB Sign#™
