Torch of Patriots
We have learned and heard the beautiful narratives of our 'foremothers' and forefathers. We have listened to the tales and reasoned with or contested the logic of why they did what they did. We have even dared to drag their ghosts into the witness box of our present open courts of our talks of thoughts. But even in agreeing to equalise the scores of the importance of who our ancestors were and what role they played in the birth of our country, we can't deny the place of the one 🔦 Torchbearer, Kwame Nkrumah. We may not like all his tactics, antics or strategies or even his odd ways, because he was only a mortal just like his compatriots who also had their shortcomings. But can we quantify all the debt we owe our ancestors? Can we weigh their enormous contributions to our growth.
