In a People's Creed

Image
I respect the fact that we all have rights. In exercising these rights, we ought to appreciate the wisdom in working together to address our challenges. That said, it is worthwhile to still be disciplined, decorous, reasonable and honest under this dispensation.  We must look beyond our personal or political interests in our attempt to serve our people.  I mean, we have reached the stage where we should critically consider the general good of the common people we campaigned to serve. I still think we can collectively do better having come this far in our Constitutional journey. We can even exceed our targets if we use power judiciously to serve the very people who entrust us with this task.  We might have walked fast or far in this cage, but whether we like it or not we are in this together. And we cannot fail ourselves.  It is my prayer, we never forget the echoes of a People's Creed in this Republic.  God bless us all KYB ✍🏿®7-01-2021

A Valuable Duty

Image
In our quest to satisfy our daily needs of what to eat and wear, we very often forget or give less attention to the very things that equally needs our care.  Sometimes our busy schedules in search of money or comfort are making us take little care of some pertinent things in our lives that we ought to care about.  Oftentimes, we also become too petty, bemoan and complain too much of our challenges of what's not done or what's still needed to do. Today, in seeking a balance, may we always value the little things like our faith, integrity, concern for the human family. May we ever desire to respect human dignity and be prepared to summon the energies we are blessed with, to make the positive impact we intend to make. May we always be mindful of our duty to CARE, everywhere we find ourselves today. It is an honour to reach you again, this hour. Do have a wonderful day.  Take Care. God bless you.✨ Greetings  ©KYB ✍🏿13/10/2020

Shy Shai Hills Crossing

Image
It was around 7:12 am on Sunday 12, July 2020 around Shai Hills, when this shy lady crossed the road. Although she was somewhat conscious of the need to get to the other side of the highway, she was lost in her thoughts and might have least expected the vehicle to approach with such speed. So my good fair colleague who's steering the dark Vibe Pontiac Car at 70km to 75km per hour graciously swerved to the left side of the road in order to avoid hitting her. Though she quickened her pace a bit, she was casually calm with calculated steps, walking as if nothing was at stake. She strolled with a distinct stale experience of life, clad in the absence of stateliness. Yet the mirthfulness in her style signals a striving souls' gratitude for the gift of life.  Moving steadily, she looked strengthened by the dew bath of the dawn and much ready to walk into the beautiful morning. But buried in her lonely thoughts of many loud possibilities,  she seemed to be relishing the co

Take Care

Beyond being careful and cautious in our steps and action, we have a responsibility to be eternally vigilant and mindful in our walk. While it's expedient to trust God, please do take CARE of yourself, because you are valuable. God bless you. Greetings ©KYB✍🏿 20/05/19

Take Care

At a time we are inundated with unfavourable reportage here and there, perhaps the best thing to do is to be cautious and careful in our steps, in what we do and how we do what we do. It is critically necessary to be eternally vigilant in our care because self-care in this age of many needless death is a crucial thing we must seriously consider. And although I may not know what enough care entails, I believe care is an essential good we must cherish and appreciate in order to live in this age. This is perhaps the more reason why I implore you to always Take Care.🌱🌿 God bless your evening🐥 #KYB ✍🏿®#

With Care

Without care many of us wouldn't have lived past age five. Without basic concern for others, we might be as good as dead. This is not to say we are going to live here forever, but to just echo the fact we are because of others. However, to live this day, it is worth rethinking compassion. Compassion in this sense goes beyond just being committed to care. In fact, it also means showing respect for others’ views, listening carefully to even what they don't say and showing genuine concern or appreciating other people. Compassion is essentially about internalising our human values in order to attain the higher good. So with Care, let's try to be compassionate towards others today. Greetings #KYB ✍🏿®#

Soul Care

Cherish your friends and family, and always value them. Respect humanity and help make a positive impact by sharing. Take Care of your body, and keep it healthy, because you need it to stay here. Even as you do this, please never neglect to CARE for your soul. Take care of your soul, nourish it, make time to pray, make time to meditate and have some time with your SOUL. Bless your soul. Greetings.🌿🕸 #KYB ✍🏿®#

With Care

Image
In our interaction with each other, there's this basic need for attention, that we all seek. Embedded in this attentive need, is a conscious requirement for care. Yes! Care for yourself, Care for others, Care for the needy, the marginalised and vulnerable, Care for our environment, as well as Care for little little things of life. Beside needing the service of critical care in our hospitals, emergency centres, or hospices, we also require the subtle assurance of its constant provision. However  it's disheartening to know how many people are dying because they lack this essential ingredient of life. It's worrying to know those suffering because someone didn't care. It hurts to see how terrible people lives deteriorate due to the fact that our support systems are defective in providing basic care. So do take care of yourself. I mean please take care of yourself and do extend care to those most in need. They are not had to find. Some are around your abode or arou

Our Vulnerability

I n the transient tracks of a day, a lot of things transpire. But beyond our thoughts and talks, are thousands of tricky tests in treaties that still threaten our lives. Some of these come to us in surprised coats or in unpredictable circumstances of our lives. In our in ability to correctly predict and curb these surprise elements, that why there's yawning need for us to understand the reality that we are all vulnerable. This is the more reason why these pieces, subtly convey the need for us to take care, be a bit responsible and responsive  in how we do what we do, so that we curb our rate of susceptibility to our vulnerability. We are vulnerable in many ways. Fear, sickness, anger, stress, accidents, and death as well as hunger, greed, mistakes, negligence and indifference makes us greatly vulnerable. And even when we have done the needful of ensuring a watertight safety strategies, there's still that silent percent gap that makes us to all vulnerable to danger. This

LIVING PROJECT

What do YOU live for? What drives YOU in life? What defines YOUR success? Beyond monetary or material gains, profit, academic laurels and pleasure, There's an essential part of us we seldom talk about; It's that beautiful-ugly component in our make up that hardly gets attention and needed support. It's that living project in us that we ought to know and live. The living project is a subtle soft sermon that is felt at one's birth and death. You might have seen it in the composure of birth attendants and felt it in the breath of our care givers in our homes, families, society, but which is strangled in our penchant to succeed in a world of changing trends. CARE is the definitive caricature in the living project and a key ingredient in our relationships with ourselves, others and God. Care is the very heartbeat of our mission here. To be Caring and Affectionate is the Reality of our Essence here. So please take care of how you relate to yourself, others includi

CORE DUTY

It's a subtle concern in the air. It's a core duty staring in our faces. Sometimes the subject is drowned in the busy lake of our challenges. We seem to also sideline or shelve our foremost duty of Care. Perhaps, we can rethink the way we relate to the vulnerable persons in our immediate vicinities. We can try to listen to the silent words these friends are not saying. In fact, in our attempt to ascribe meanings or meddle in the sweet jargons of development, we should endeavour to work together to ensure NOBODY is left Behind in our progress march. The value of living the duty of care is far greater than the challenges or our fear of not caring. In whatever you please remember that somebody out there needs to feel the impact of your care, and they are counting on us not to fail them. We don't require much to care, but refer to God's care for each and every one of us. We only need our collective commitment to care and the Lord your God will do the rest. Thanks f

LET'S CARE

The walls we build around ourselves, coupled with our sinking self esteem, which makes us think that we should only grab every material wealth in order to be successful is hurting us big time. The excessive demands and pressures of life and society, As well as the gapping stereotypes and prejudices of others about us and about us of others, further compounds the challenge we face in a rather uncaring society, pretending to care for a moment about these wasted lives of these beautiful souls. If our society is still interested in the details of why the increasing rate of suicide of late, then we must be honest in assessing the premium we place on materialism, success, comfort and how we even value human life. In the heat of the moment, we all pretend to care about these deaths and wish to know why it all happened or why there is a steep upsurge in the cases, only for us to forget about this need in a matter of days. Sometime around Christmas and Easter the issue of accidents is lik

DUTY TO SERVE

In the discharge of our various duties; In living our various roles as a people, We one way or the other fail to appreciate the fact that we are part of a bigger group and that our actions and inactions affect others. And those who are lucky to know this truth, equally fail to appreciate the true cost of pride and complacency. Sometimes it is a silky bliss of folly to think that we'll maintain our positions forever, or always be the superiors. Sometimes we so much want to control things with our little positions of influence, when in reality we still don't control when we must sleep or wake. Sometimes we truly want to predict happenings of the next moment, the next hour and the future, when in reality we are only stewards entrusted with a duty to serve. God the supreme is still in charge and in control. So appreciating the truth of our being and acknowledging the fact that we are here to serve is vital. And like Christ Jesus, we all have a duty to serve and a mission to

DUTY OF CARE

Pay attention to the charge of care, And be receptive to the fruits of the Spirit, which is seen in unconditional love, internal peace, an enduring patience, warm kindness, generosity, gentleness and self-control. As you walk into this new day, please be attentive to the lessons of life, while you keep a sane balance. Be fruitful this day. Remain blessed🍓 #KYB ✍🏿#

🐝 SOCIAL CHANGE 🐝

Our foremost duty is to be true to ourselves . Our prime focus should lead us to do the right things. In all our endeavours, let's remember our responsibility to be agents of social change. Remain blessed 💤

DO WE CARE?

Do we care about our smiles? Do we care about our present? Do we care about our future? Do we care about our salvation? Do we care about our safety? How well do we care about others? How well do we care about what we eat? How well do we care about the vulnerable? How well do we care about the poor? How well do we care about the rains? How well do we even care about life? The concerns of the few for power; The pretense of the few that they care for our challenges, The deliberate care they advance for our collective powers Is laughable. Do we really care? Do we really care for our well-being? Do we really care for our health? Do we really care for authentic progress or election and power? May God help us to care more for the things that matter. Stay blessed.
