WHISPERS OF INSPIRATION

Several seasons ago, a friend of mine came home with tears because he was given a good beating at the play grounds by a playmate. His elder brother who won't take any of his copious complaints which he managed to render with tearful eyes, sent him back to redeem himself or in default forfeit his supper. With stirred ergo, like an angry bee, he clumsily found his way back on the grounds, more focused, fearless and determined and hungry for success at the rematch. The winner of the first fight, who was joyously feeling pompous taught he could capitalised on his momentous glory to beat my friend the second time. In fact, he underrated the guy, who marshalled all the power within him to turn the fight in his stead. The motivation and hunger to redeem himself, aroused the innate power within him to fight and he defeated the defending champion. Thus, to seek His help, we must not relent in our prayers or supplications. Certainly, it must be our urgent concern. PRAYER: Dear God, Please be mindful of us, and manifest yourself in time of our distress. Save us from the claws of the wicked, and deliver us from our fears. Grant us courage to be firm in faith and help us, O Lord to repent from our odd ways and bring us in order. Every moment counts. Every hour is important. Every ounce of hope is key in this life. Even with our limitation of not knowing what will happen in the next moment,  we still hope and believe our plans will fall through. Even those who passed on yesterday and those who will be passing away today or in the next moment all have beautiful plans for this very moment and the next one. Life is not about work, work and work. Life is not about the fun, success and good omen. Life is not about the things we are able to acquire. The business of Life is a Positive charge we have to keep all the time. It's about marrying all our experiences with a sane balance of who we are and who God wants us to be.
