It's a fact that almost all of us need some food. Yes! We mostly must eat something to grow. We all must feed ourselves to get the needed energy to perform our daily tasks. But in the preparation of every meal, we often forget the farmer who tilled the land and planted the food.  We sometimes forget the people involved in the food chain of process, before for our mothers, wives, and caterers to buy the foodstuffs. It's a fact that we seldom acknowledge our farmers and everyone involved in carting the goods to our various market centres. It’s easier to overlook what we have and excessively worry about what we don't have. Sometimes it's vital to appreciate the little things that bind us together. It's good to list the little successes. It's worth counting the efforts of all those who touched our lives. It's necessary to remember those who cared to whisper a word or two into our ears. It's significant to appreciate everyone who shared a few of their lives with us. It's crucial to commend those who said spoke into ourselves either provocatively, prophetically or casually. It's important to celebrate everyone who showed concerned and encouraged us on this journey. It's significant to acknowledge the people who saw in us potentials even when we didn't know anything, and went the extra mile to inspire us. It's critical to thank those who went out of their way to share their unique stories with us. We have been able to make much progress through those moments of valuable c

In the continuous journey of life, And in the roles actors played yesterday, we have inched closer to this present age and the age beyond. While thanking God for the gift of their lives, our ancestors deserve a place in our hearts for their toils and sacrifices. They deserve commendation wherever their souls and spirit may be. Remembering their good deeds and the roles they played in maintaining the chain of continuity in this procreation business is in order. It's proper to, therefore, remember them not because of their flawless past, but because of their resilience, their faith and the wisdom they courted to live and share their DNA with us.
