In this regard, there's an eccentric communion we ought to seek daily. It is an essential diet that strengthens and keep our lives in constant progressive balance. Call it prayer or a hearty chat, it is still a necessary pill we have to take to keep going. O Lord, gladden the soul of your servant and make us relevant this day. The dictates of truth spoke. Words of wisdom echoe . Every now and then the reminders ring in the rhythms of life. Sometimes we listen not. Other times we are busy with the bread and butter issues that we forget the essence of our lives. We are mostly caught up in the details of our daily activities that we forget the very valuable notes of our existence. In the text of the Gospel, we hear the advice Christ gave us to obey the very reasons why we live. Please listen to the eternal truth and Observe the tenets. What do we value in life? Does it agree with our collective social value system? Is it that our individual interest is strangling our social interest? Could it be that our love for money is making us ignore right actions? What can we do collectively to improve and serve our common good better? What's happening to our moral conscience as a people? It appears individualism and its siblings greed, selfishness, indiscipline and inaction is gradually eating us up. We are killing ourselves through our lousy pretence, subtle insincerity and the benign negligence of our institutions. There's something fundamentally wrong which we have to fix. This cannot be business as usual. We must act decisively and in the interest of our people. While thinking through these lines, please do take care of yourself and those entrusted to your care.
