Certain Uncertainties

Image
Certain things are certain in life. And yet others are uncertain. But we still have beautiful plans for the future and hope they materialise. We hope for the best in every engagement and pray against any eventualities. We expect good things to happen to us (except our enemy) and make good projections toward those end. But what if tomorrow never comes? What if something untoward happens? What if we miss out on our chances or opportunities? What would we do or say in those instances?: "Oh! Why me?" "This shouldn't happen?" "O goodness!"... Are some  of our likely responses. Indeed, one of life assurances is our believe in God to prompt us, and our ability to heed precaution. But we sometimes know how stubborn we can be as a people. Another one is the mystery and unpredictability of time and events. This basically means there are certain things that could happen within or beyond our control. Yes there are certain uncertainties that could o

Politics of Interests

People's motivation are essentially backed by certain interests. These interests could be altruistic or personal. So in dissecting the various interests of people, as expressed in personal interest, professional interest and political interest, we are likely to observe how individual interests, communal interests, organisational interests, national interests and continental or international interests interact. We know how conflicting some greedy and selfish interests, hurt our communal and national interests. We know how unsustainable these negative interests deny all of us the collective good we seek as a nation. But the interesting thing about interest is that we all have one or two or more, which is very pronounced in the politics of interests. However, in aggregating these interests,  we have a dignified duty to be altruistic and communal in our approach. To scale the tide of corruption, we even have an urgent task to not only train our children but to help them appreciat

The Cure

To cure the cancer of corruption, we must redefine our values, care to live these values and be ready to sacrifice our greedy creeds. Sometimes we just need to be mindful of what we say when we're in our comfort zones, and when excited or angry. But in all just be yourself. God bless your soul. Good morning! πŸ“ #KYB ✍🏿®#

In Every Yes or No

There is a consequence we bear  whenever we say yes. There is an implication with every no we say in our engagement. And there is even an unmeasured burden of uncertainty that bath our thoughts whenever we remain neutral.   Fact is that in every contract we sign, proposal or appointment we accept, we are sacrificing some of our comfort, freedom and allowing some sort of demands to be made on us. And so long as there are choices or decisions to be made, the conversation on consequences will continue unabated. Truth is that some of the implications in saying 'yes' or 'no' could be demanding, frustrating and even throw our plans out of gear, so it's very critical to review and revise these decisions from time to time. We may sometimes get trapped in some of these situations and might be confused along the line, but we ought not lose our focus or motivation in living the essence of our lives here. So be very candid in the appointments, proposals or contracts you

Living Signatures

Signatures are necessary in our brands and in the history we write. The signatures of integrity, honesty, respect, discipline, truth and authenticity in our life are key to our survival and social progress. In fact, aside our values and principles, our unique signatures are also reflected in the care and responsive energy we infuse in our daily efforts. Your signature is still unique and beautiful in this process. And as we still prepare to walk our thoughts through the maize of time, we might as well consider the value of working together to enliven the uniqueness in our signatures.  Yes! Your signature is unique. So live it and help the world become a better place. God bless you. #KYB ✍🏿®#
