Once upon a while, there was a wooden Bedford vehicle (arro-glass), which plied the roads in northern Volta, in the 90s. This durable vehicle advertised the name: Mawu nye Lɔlɔ, to wit God is Love. The inscription didn't make much sense then, but somehow it was significant in a way, which some market women, (mostly patrons of the vehicle) alluded to as its guiding force in their tales. The reliability, durability or safeness of the vehicle in getting one to their destination was not in doubt. In fact, if you missed Mawu nye lɔlɔ, which was the last vehicle to leave the major market, then you can resort to trekking on foot. In spite of it's load, the vehicle has a way of navigating through the micro ponds, the manholes and rough muddy, undulating and bumpy road at the time, with much ease, perhaps due to the love of God.
