Assessment Beyond Exams

We need effective strategies as part of our progress march. They are necessary as long as our operations, events, activities, convictions and visions are concerned. That everyone desires favourable conditions in this life and in the hereafter, means we need effective strategies to maximize our time, utilise our limited resources and yield results. The assessment of our lives, our strategies and plans are vital tools to keep us in the right balance even beyond our daily tests, examination and evaluations. May God help us adopt effective strategies, have the discipline to review and live these strategies today, Amen. May He who has brought us this far, continue to guide us on this journey. Stay blessed

Thank God for Today

An act of thanksgiving is critical in appreciating how far we've come. Sometimes, the idea of recognising the deed of the Almighty who still work through people in our lives is worth noting. So let's thank God in every situation. In everything, let's acknowledge God's love. Let's give thanks to the LORD, for His goodness and mercy endures forever. May the sweet echoes of His Love fill and strengthen us to begin this day anew. May the merciful God who blessed us with the gift of this day, continue to sprinkle on us the strength to live this day to the fullest. God Bless you. Good day. #KYB ✍🏿#

Concern for Reform

Several concerns were relayed to our maker the order day in our supplication. It's a distressing call about how we have become and allowed ourselves to be consumed by these subtle deeds. From the corridors of power, in our schools, through the aisle of our religious centres, in the wards of our hospitals, our ministries, on our streets and almost everywhere, the quality of our smiles is at its lowest. And we've got to talk about our deadly greed that is causing our economies to bleed heavily. We have to talk about our negligence that's causing the needless death of thousands of our compatriots. We have to talk about our deadly interests and attitude that's gradually killing us daily. We have to cultivate the attitude to ensure that our system delivers the right things for our wellbeing. We have to individually and collectively stop condoning and smiling to the misdeeds of our love ones, who offer us terrible services, and also find the courage to praise our perce

One at a Time

We all have 24 hours in a day to execute our duties. It's a fact some of our duties overlap with others being intertwined. Sometimes we feel time is not enough for us to accomplish all that we have outlined to do. But must we burden ourselves excessively with our many duties and responsibilities? Must we suffer under these pressures of our duties? It's true some of our positions, require us to be versatile but come to think of it, there's only one thing we can effectively do at any given moment. Reflecting on the value of time in relation to our various duties, though there are some exceptions to the rule, (since some of our confreres are multitasking) fact is that we are limited in doing one thing at a time. So let's try to do one thing at a time. Let's make sure we're doing things right and ensure that we are doing the right thing. This is because there is only one thing to do at any given moment. There's only one thing to do to continue living.

The Cultural Affair

Image
Life is not only an interesting enterprise but a gift to appreciate. However, when you live in a culture of denial and pretence that everything is alright, you have to take care of yourself. When you live in a culture where disrespect nakedly rooms the streets, you've got to properly take care of your moves. When you live in a society where human dignity is monetised and traded or treated anyhow, then you have to take good care of yourself. When you live in a culture that rejects the truth but celebrates deceit, then you have a duty to be extra careful in saying what you stay and when you say what you might even say in your mind. When you have institutions that are supposed to serve you, but behaving as if they're doing you a favour, then you have to act with tact and calculated strategies. In fact, in a culture that ignores the very things that affects the afflicted and by extension everyone, you have to protect yourself and be on guard. In a culture bloated with

God of Love

Did we err in judging people in our view of their appearance? Did we condemn people, by stereotyping against them? Is our ethnicity affecting the way we appreciate others? Are we still nursing prejudice thought of those we met the other day or yesteryear? How's the gift of our religion helping us live the love inherent in them? Since our God is not a God who discriminates, we have a duty to love others. And in order to sustains our relationships we have to cultivate the act of forgiveness and reconciliation. May your week be blessed. God bless you. Greetings #KYB ✍🏿#
