PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

There's a threatening current sweeping the soul of our society. In fact it has become a sickening trend many of us adopt when we're at our odds or fail to do our best. Children, the youth and adults say it in self defense, for fear of punishment or to save themselves from disgrace. The 'it's not my fault" or the blame game syndrome is killing the sense of responsibility in our society. Barbara Tuchman , a celebrated historian rightly said what we most need in this century is "probably personal responsibility " for our actions and  inactions . Maybe we should take more responsibility for our behaviour and our performance and bear in mind that doing so doesn't mean society must forgive you  because it's "not your fault." May God help us do our best today.

BE ALERT

Like the capricious desert and the vagaries of the tropical weather, life constantly test our level of commitment and concentration on the very things that matter. The temptations, trials and tribulations are some litmus test sometimes given us to assess our worth, transform and perfect us. We can't fully comprehend all the happenings unless we learn to listen more, learn from our mistakes and keep a consistent faith with the will of the Creator. May we encounter the humbling experience,   peace and joy of seeking, knowing and living His ultimate Will this day. Good morning! Be blessed
