Priceless Truth

Our understanding of issues differ.  Our perception of others differs, the same way the impression we give others about ourselves contrast  We often "condemn people not because we know they have done something evil, but because we don't know the truth about them".  We see what we want to see in people based on our different interpretations, conception and conjectures of who they are.  We are mostly ignorant of others we presume to judge, condemn and crucify.  We are mostly inconsiderate of others and perhaps fail to take the trouble to find out what they mean by their actions and speeches.  The priceless truth is that we are gradually becoming people who want others to listen to our point of views without actually listening to others. Perhaps we can do ourselves a lot of good and save ourselves from many problems if we take the pain to understand what and why people do what they do and not just limit ourselves to what we hear people tell us about others.  By listening wit

Compassion

Image
A people without genuine care risk dying. A people without genuine concern for one another risk suffocating. Though there's a challenge in our current social arrangement to sustain some of our collective care,  we still cannot neglect our social call to care. We have to employ our time and deploy our efforts to be compassionate even as we reflect on our strategies in order to improve ourselves, and our relationships. Good evening God bless. #KYB ✍🏿®#

A Friend Out There

Image
Several weeks ago, I meet this friend on my route to a place I often visit. He sits under a thin-shady tree near a Y junction with flower hedges, acting as a sort of shield against the noise from the moving vehicles. Immediately, I saw him my heart went out to him. I felt he needed someone to talk to. So I walked up to him one morning and greeted him. I forced a smile and he returned it with frailness written all over his face. I thought to myself he's hungry and got him some porridge. He thanked me and I wish him well.  I felt he urgently needs medical attention but that's another discussion for another day. So that's my friend, who needs water and food to quench his thirst and hunger. This is a friend who wants to smile and walk again. You right to ask where this friend's family members are and why he's abandoned by the roadside. But beyond asking these questions. I feel there's something we can do to help this friend and others around us to feel love.

Compassion

Compassion towards others is not a preserve of any religion. Real compassion is not limited to our dreams but the efforts we make to reach out and to teach ourselves as well as our children's children the value of honesty, respect and care for our common humanity. God bless your soul. #KYB ✍🏿®#

COMPASSION

A concerned Creator breathed compassion unto our consciousness for us to see the day light. So since compassion is core to our being, let's be compassionate to ourselves and others this day. Let's consider our critical concerns in life and contract our hope in every circumstance. Let's certify our creative will by connecting with the Creators will. Do have a pleasant day. Remain ever blessed. Greetings. 🍁 #KYB ✍🏿®#
