To the Spirits of Our Ancestors

In the continuous journey of life,
And in the roles actors played yesterday, we have inched closer to this present age and the age beyond.

While thanking God for the gift of their lives, our ancestors deserve a place in our hearts for their toils and sacrifices.

They deserve commendation wherever their souls and spirit may be.

Remembering their good deeds and the roles they played in maintaining the chain of continuity in this procreation business is in order.
It's proper to, therefore, remember them not because of their flawless past, but because of their resilience, their faith and the wisdom they courted to live and share their DNA with us.

So kindly thank those illustrious daughters and sons of our land, the pacesetters and the ancestors of our fathers, as well as all the committed people who we have long forgotten.

Please extend my gratitude to them wherever they may be.

Perhaps as part of our gratitude to them, we can also take care of our environment, preserve the vegetation and plant some more trees to give us more shades,  and tackle the warm changing weather and climate so that the children of our children's children would have a home to also live in. 🍂🍁🌻
