DANGERS OF LIES

Are there some truth in LIES? Are there any benefits in lies? Why do people lie at all?
Children tell LIES for fear of being punished or as a defense to prevent the seeker of truth from knowing the truth. Often, adults also tell tricky lies to maintain their punctured good image or keep a certain calm air of order.
Somehow, one gets to hear sweet LIES (Lovely lies told by lovers) or lies of convenience.
There are also blunt or lame lies, the same way there are rich and healthy lies.
There are official and unofficial lies, buried in calculated diplomatic language.
There are institutional LIES hidden under the guise of unnecessary bureaucratic procedures and jealously guarded by the so-called Oath of Secrecy or by laws legalising the LIES (what is known as special immunities). There are inherent LIES in democracy and other forms of governance and ideologies.
There are embellished or exaggerated lies amplified in all forms of propaganda as well as established lies and honest lies.
There are also deceitful lies and defensive lies.
There are heavy lies and light ones walking nakedly on our streets.
Some say there are white, red, green and black lies, while the blue, gray, indigo and colourless lies also roam in the air.
There are religious, economic (financial), political and sociocultural lies that somehow looks like the truth.
There are historical and conventional lies that seems to defy logic, which often foment troubles.
There are lies in hearsay and powerful lies in gossips that ridicules our good virtues.
The secret lies and silent lies are only heard in whispers, while intellectual LIES hidden in assumptions, theories and verifiable evidence also walks freely in our minds.
There are rehearsed lies of evidence, judicial lies strengthen by laws; journalist lies enhanced by editing and there are foreign lies that we hear or don't hear.
I don't know the types or shades of LIES you know but what I know is that these LIES are told by human beings which are further encouraged by our mistrusting system.
In short, people or most Ghanaians appreciate LIES than TRUTH and this is hurting our integrity big time.
If we could be honest with ourselves a little;
If we could be honest with other people;
If we could reinstate truth and reward honesty among our people;
If we could teach ourselves and our children the value of honesty;
I believe we can fight the greed in our hearts and kill corruption in our land.
I believe we will love more and care for our country to attain authentic growth.
I believe our national integrity will soar and Ghana will truly be that gateway to prosperity, progress and new possibilities.
May God bless us all to avoid these sickening LIES to save our dear country.
Remain Blessed as always.πŸ‘£‪#‎KYB‬ Sign# ™
