In Between Time
Between then and now,
Between morning and evening,
Between sunrise and sunset,
Are sequential spaces for our activities.
Between morning and evening,
Between sunrise and sunset,
Are sequential spaces for our activities.
Between our infancy and adulthood,
Between our adulthood and our old age,
Between that experience and the next one
Between our birthdays and our death days,
Are special periods for our existence.
Between our adulthood and our old age,
Between that experience and the next one
Between our birthdays and our death days,
Are special periods for our existence.
Between history and events of this hour,
Between the older generation and our generation,
Between our ancestors' whispers and our people's loud whistles,
Between values of yesterday and the hybrid values of our time,
Are subtle variations of what we cherish.
Between the older generation and our generation,
Between our ancestors' whispers and our people's loud whistles,
Between values of yesterday and the hybrid values of our time,
Are subtle variations of what we cherish.
But in between the moments and time,
Can we say our value system can sustain,
Maintain and contain our excesses?
Can we say our children's children can withstand the tides of attacks on our dignity?
Can we say our value system can sustain,
Maintain and contain our excesses?
Can we say our children's children can withstand the tides of attacks on our dignity?
In between our little talks and thoughts,
Can we honestly say we are utilising the sequential spaces and special periods of our existence?
Is there something we can do better in between these intricate moments?
Is it possible we can rethink our value system?
Can we honestly say we are utilising the sequential spaces and special periods of our existence?
Is there something we can do better in between these intricate moments?
Is it possible we can rethink our value system?
Greetings
