A Little Patience

Once upon a while, a boy pelted stones at his Headteacher for daring to punish him for scoring zero in an early morning class dictation.

The innocent boy explains later that the intent for throwing the stones was to disperse his colleagues who were pursuing him after he jumped the window and took to his hills from class.

Nonetheless, one or two of the missiles landed at the feet of the headteacher.
The boy said he acted out of fear but the school system wasn't patient or ready to understand that scoring zero is part of the marks one gets when the fear of the cane induces one's mental agility to recall and spell words correctly.

A little grace of patience I had sometime back had saved me from the fallout from dealing with a guy who defrauded me. Instead, the painful lessons were learned.

Sometimes, a little patience prevents the degeneration of a small issue.
A little patience behind the wheels of life could save us from unnecessary accidents or some troubles.

It's a fact that sometimes we have to be swift and smart when opportunities come;
It's possible to persistently create or pursue opportunities and take advantage of them;
But being impatient with ourselves or others hasn't helped us build anything.
The discipline of being patient in time of having nothing and when we have it all is prudent in our lives.

So as you drive on the fast lane today;
As you walk through the grace of time;
As you interact with each within these moments, maybe we should patiently listen, observe patiently and patiently seek to understand.

And in the course of time, and through the various scenes, situations, and circumstances of life, we are being presented with the essence of patients as a critical value in an impatient and intemperate world.

So as Kings and Queens of grace, kindly go placidly with the flow and patiently take your steps.

Yes, you are right to ask all the questions about why the delays and the go-slow pace in not having what everyone has. Ask yourself about why some good opportunities just go.
And asked how you missed out on that incident when you were booked to be on board and present at that time it happened?
Sometimes the mysteries and the reasons will fall flat in the wisdom of a fast-paced world.
But when you critically analyse things, you would realise, your patience was worth it.

So please, don't rush it but patiently build and keep going with the flow of life.
Since growth is a gradual process, we are by default required to be patient to follow through every stage.
With a little patience in our daily routines, we can discover our treasures.

However, in being patient today, please be prayerful and prudent.
May the Most High bless you.

Greetings. 🌞
