ON-BOARD A TROTRO BUS

On-board a trotro bus are people of varied views.

They are beautiful people with unique intents and interests, dreams and ideas.

They are attractive people with different thoughts but moving to a particular destination.

Among these people are children, pupils, students, workers, women, men and preachers.

Among them are businessmen and businesswomen, entrepreneurs, persons with disability etc.

 

In the morning many people form long queues to join the Trotro bus for a ride to their various destination.

In the afternoon little people trickle-in at the station to join the bus.

In the evening too many people rush to join queues so that they can board the bus to their homes.

When the vehicle moves from the station with the passengers they are bus stops on the way.

As the vehicle motions towards its destinations with the pilgrims, it walks with time.

Some people might even miss the bus in the first place and might have to wait for the next one.

Some people too might first alight on the way, while others alight midway through the journey.

Some also alight just before the end of the journey, while some stay on to the last stop.

But in between time, some also board the bus to fill or replace the space of those who alighted.

And even while passengers hope to get there safely, the 

driver and ‘mate’ as well as the car owner anticipate making gains.

Sometimes the Trotro bus might develop a problem or even breakdown on the journey.

Other times the buses might be involved in minor or very terrible accident on their way and the journey is somehow cut.

In the process, some people sustain several degrees of injuries, some are maimed for life, while others lose their lives.

Similarly, our lives also operate in like the Trotro bus.

We are all on a journey and moving towards our ultimate destination.

Some will join our unique vehicles and alight on the way, while others will stay on.

Some will die earlier, as others will also enter later.

We cannot tell the time of our arrival either, neither can we predict the happenings of the next moment.

We cannot explain all the happenings, experiences of the nature of the road, neither can we calculate the comfort and stress level we might encounter on the journey.   

So as we live this day let us draw nearer to the Creator, who knows what will happen in future.

Let us walk closer to the one who missioned us on this journey so that we will not get lost.

Let us consistently remember that we are on a journey and that we would not stay here forever.

Let us also remember that the one who missioned us on this journey is waiting for us to account.

So let us do all that we can to make our journey a lively and a memorable, so that we won’t regret ever being on this journey of life. Take Care. God bless you.
