BE CLOSE TO GOD

Over the weekend most of us communed with our God in the spirit of thanksgiving for His many wondrous deeds.
Over the weekend most of us heard and listened to divinely inspired messages of hope.
Over the weekend many of us went to renew our spiritual commitment at our various places of worship.
Like a weekly ritual, from Friday, Saturday and Sunday, most faithful of various beliefs revived and reacquired their spiritual antiretroviral drugs to refresh their spirits for another week.
But that seems to be part of our usual selves now.
In fact it is possible that we would go back to live our odd ways thinking it's business as usual.
It's also possible that we would go back living the way we used to thinking, we are helpless and can't do anything about our situations.
It's somehow true that we could even go back worshipping same old deadly traps imprisoning our
hearts and mind every week.
In fact, it is therefore no surprise when Jesus Christ comments on this attitude of human beings, by stating that "No one lights a lamp and hides it away or places it (under a bushel or basket ) but on a lampstand, so that those who enter might see the light" Luke 11:33 (African Bible).
We are equally reminded today in John 4:23 that God desires those who would worship him in spirit and in truth.
So on this wet morning of a Monday, may the grace of God sustain in us the willingness to live and radiate the light of our faith as we walk closer with Him this day.
God Loves You. Stay blessed πŸŒΈπŸ’
