FAIR FRIDAY

Fair play is the Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) programme to promote sportsmanship, prevent discrimination, reduce racism and use the game of football to make the world a better place.
Fair play and competition are not mutually exclusive but complement each other.
Also, Fairness and Accuracy In Reporting (FAIR) is a progressive media criticism organisation in New York, that monitors the excesses and lapses in the American media.
With varied opinions on the subject of fairness, some say it's the right of the weakest.
Others agree it helps maintain closeness and ensure social cohesion.
While, some even say it's the basis on which law is founded.
But do we have fairness in our world?

Are we always fair to ourselves?
Are we fair to each other?
Sometimes we don't get what we fight for?

Other times we don't get what we truly deserve even with our best effort in our daily contest and competition.

Somehow we all cannot prove the fairness in our viewpoints, just because fairness is obvious.
Sometimes I wonder why parents have favourites among their children or why we all prefer one thing to the other.
The world is certainly not fair so let's stop expecting it to be fair to us.

But that we have a very kind and benevolent Fair God, let's strive to be FAIR in our endeavours and dealings.
That way we can individually and collectively make the world a fair place even beyond this Friday.
God bless you. 🌻
