GREATER YOU

Is power the source of your greatness?
Is material wealth the measure of your greatness?
Is your ability to command many people the source of your greatness?
Are riches the source of your greatness?
Is greatness about the fearful feeling your name or titles evoke?
Or is greatness about our being special than others or being more beautiful or handsome than others?
Is greatness about one being more intelligent or wise than others?

So what does it mean to be great at all?
In my search of what constitutes greatness, I see Jesus Christ's SIMPLICITY, HUMILITY GENTLENESS, LOVE, RESPECT, TRUSTFULNESS and KINDNESS as the model for greatness.

Though the world measure our success or greatness by the amount of riches, wealth, power, investments, intelligence or the influence one has, I realised God in his love for us and through His grace and mercy deposits in all of us rich seeds of greatness. These are manifested in our special talents, gifts and abilities.

Like Saint Matthew, who Jesus invited to be his Apostle (9:9-13), we are also invited to follow the dictates and live the exemplary life of this great son: Jesus Christ, by taking those great steps to offer authentic service and continue to care for each other.

May God who blessed us with the lives of our nation founders, continue to help us reflect on their lives and efforts, as we also strive to ride in their heroic service with the glory of this new day.

Remain blessed. Greetings๐Ÿ’#KYB Sign#
