The recurring themes of referees, references, and recommendations in our day-to-day engagement still hold sway in our lives. These references manifest in Testimonies, Testimonials, Tributes, and referrals mostly carried in worthy gossips. However, you see them, they count a lot in our lives.  Somehow, they may test or judge your personality, lifestyle, demeanor or values and may either recommend or not recommend you. Though the rule is don't please people, as much as possible be yourself at all times, cultivate good attitude, have respect for all and be humane in your dealings with people. After a long days' work, After walking and talking these hours, After discharging your duties this day, It is good to give yourself a break. Yes! Give yourself a break from your routine. Give yourself a break to rest so you can replenish your energy for the task ahead.  Give yourself a break to unwind and cool off. Give yourself a break in order to strategize and reflect on how best to do what is expected of you. Please give yourself a break from that trouble or issue eating you up. Give yourself a break and free your mind from those subtle emotions. Although we might have exhausted our energies, running on our extra energies, It is necessary to ourselves a break so we can recharge and refresh our zeal to do a lot more. There is no doubt you are special and unique. You are indeed one in a kind with a sacred duty. You are a blessing to many in your walk. And you are admired and loved by your loved ones. I must say I like your penchant to try getting things done, however little. But it is a fact that not everyone is pleased with how you do what you do. I mean it's a mistake to think everyone is happy with what you do and how you do what you do. It's a fact that we cannot know all our enemies or those who wished we vacate this space. But as children of divine hope, inspired with a determined spirit under the guidance of the Most High, we certainly shouldn't fear but be strong to serve. Is there something we should know? Are there happenings we are unaware of? Fact is that there are changing scenes in these spaces of our society we still cannot decipher. I mean the shifts and turns in our peculiar situation could sometimes be confusing. Our understanding of issues differ. Our perception of others differs, the same way the impression we give others about ourselves. We often "condemn people not because we know they have done something evil, but because we don't know the truth about them". Sometimes, we see what we want to see in people base on our different interpretations, conception, and conjectures of who they are and what we have been exposed to. We are mostly ignorant of others we presume to judge, condemn and crucify. We are mostly too quick to conclude or we are perhaps inconsiderate of others that we somehow fail to take the trouble to find out what they really mean by their actions and speeches. The priceless truth is that we are gradually becoming a people, who want others to listen to our point of views without actually listening to others. And whenever we listen to others, it's in order to reply and not to respond. Perhaps we can do ourselves a lot of good and save ourselves from man

Our quest to explore and live, Brings us closer to some realities. We often find good examples in these realities of our various stories. As the Sun glides along the horizon, We still have a duty to remember the worthy examples of others and those who engineered them in our lives.
