MYSTERY OF TIME
A day after yesterday, A day after the death, A day after the terrible news, we spoke our hearts. We heard the investigators words even while the love ones wailed. We heard the sadness in the words of our legislators. We heard the sorrowful dirge of the constituents. It's only yesterday some others perished in the name of this notorious game of our love, and we're still awaiting the reports of our protectors. Many more lives are yet to be accounted for in many mysterious incidents, while others have been buried in the annals of time. In the wake of these happenings, we see the spontaneous reaction of a nation in solidarity but as to whether we really care for our lives is another issue. Whether we really value human life, is a thirsty question begging for answers. Whether we truly love life more than the funerals of deceased ones is another paradox we are yet to unravel as a people. Whatever our aversion or dislike for it, the inevitable truth is that death is
