Elective Lovely Note
What's in this elective smile at all?
What's conveyed in this elective electron?
How different is this elective affection?
Or is it an elective lust, nicely embellished with all the enticing adverts?
Why have we chosen to amplify this day with its common commercialized craze?
Why have we imported, licensed and embraced this so-called celebration in the name of projecting erotic love for man and woman?
Why have we singled out 14th or 15th to indulge in this reddish love?
And who the heck is Cupid, the chubby little boy wearing diapers on the Valentine card and shooting the arrow to the heart?
Is there a spin out there that we don't know?
What's in this day at all that condones the annual shortage of condoms from the stalls?
The conundrum of mixing core cultural care and elective ones comes and come again.
The contours of core colours creeping into elective civilisation in creative circles of consequence are certainly intoxicating our consciousness.
And now our core levels of correctness keeps courting and crippling our values, courtesy of our blotted begging pride.
It's critical to note that our core values are caving in, to this elective affection of the cribs of colonial contents, all because of our unchanging certification of everything with colonial taste.
And since ours is a chocolate version; it's my prayer that our Cocoa Processing Company (CPC), will cash-inn on this day to rejuvenate its work.
Saintly people of progress.
Saintly people of core values, please don't be too enticed to fall for this elective smiles of ancient narrative, covered with the spinning schemes of elevating one day to praise lust.
Maybe we should consider celebrating true LOVE for ourselves, and our common progress every day and not just on the 14th of February.
May we be enlightened, even as we seek the truth in our existence.
Greetings ๐ฅ Remain blessed๐
