Positive Consciousness

Legends are born in every generation.
Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah was one of them and you are the other legend yet to be discovered.

It's true Dr Nkrumah understood his call and worked towards it.

And even with such exceptional qualities and God's favour, he still needed to work with people to attain the level of development he brought to Ghana and the consciousness he raised among Afrikans and the world at large.

People are important in every progress march, that's why I still believe in you as a capable member of this progressive force.

And I have no doubt in my mind that we are a blessed but strange people.
I have never doubted in our collective ability to do great things.
I have a firm conviction that we can do a lot more for ourselves if we change our mindsets, rethink our actions and learn from the man we honour this day and from other patriots.
I have this belief that we can generate unique homegrown plans and create the things we need for our betterment.
I still have a great conviction that even though we've become too much of a talking nation, blaming others or each other for our woes and spending less time to tackle our challenges, we can still do better.

So long as the beautiful sun still rises from the east, and God remaining the Master Architect of creation, there is hope for our emancipation.
So long as there is life, we can still WORK again with determination, transparency, accountability and creativity to become a self-reliant country and continent.

Time is long overdue for us to ensure our renaissance and our rebirth as a people, ready to put aside our greedy lust and act with a sense of urgency to push for our political, economic and eternal salvation.

The time is ripe for us to rise above our petty politicking and strategies to scale the hurdle neo colonisation sets in our path to reach our emancipation.

We are the architects of our own progress, so it behoves us to do our little best to ensure our progress. We only can liberate ourselves.

It is sad Ghana and for that matter, Afrika is still at the receiving end of global trade. It's time we created more, and added more value to our elementary products and services, while we invest in our human capital with the requisite training and orientation that will make Afrika regain its glory.

To do this, we must understand that we can no longer be pompous beggars and still claim to be a lower-middle-income country. I mean we all, including most of our educated elites should work hard and invent modules, machines and technologies that would help us shift from our import led economy to being a major exporter of finished goods and services.

So let's awake the positive drive in our souls, and stir up the new consciousness in our spirits.

Let's awake the positive genius within our hearts and tap into the progressive heritage of our hope.
Let's awaken the positive consciousness in our make up and liberate our minds to see the bigger picture of who we are as people, where we are coming from? Where we are going to and interrogate why we are where we are today? In doing this, we have a duty to remain steadfast, focused and committed in our journey of progress.

And even though there are going to be challenges, betrayals, disappointments, and frustrations on this journey, we cannot give up after having come this far. In fact, we have to rise again, like our founders and forefathers did to keep the torchlight of the struggle of our liberation burning.

Have a blessed evening. Greetings
