Healthy Nature for All

What happened to our rich natural vegetation?
What caused the staleness in the weather?
Is the quality of the air we breathe still healthy?
Is the value of the food we grow still wholesome?
Are we happy with the state of our stream & rivers?
Are we pleased with the way we are managing the waste we generate daily?
Does it matter to you the state of natural resources we are leaving for our children's children?
Does it concern you how we can better appropriate our natural resources?

It's factual that the foods we eat, the air we breathe, the water we drink, and the climate that makes our planet habitable all come from nature.
But can we say in all honesty that we have really excelled in the way we managed our natural environment?
As we join the people of the earth mark this year's World Environment Day, under the theme: Biodiversity - Time for Nature, I think it time we reflect on how best we can protect, conserve and preserve our natural environment.
In these exceptional times of COVID-19, we can decide to be better managers of nature.
This moment calls for greater care of our rivers, land, trees, and air and everything with our natural environment.
For the time raise our voices is now.
The wake up to the reality of the harm we cause ourselves is now. We can not postpone this call but to act individually and collectively.
It’s time to restore and heal our biodiversity for healthier People and a Better Planet.
Take Care and Stay Safe.
Greetings.

  1. Great piece here!

It's all about having a national agenda in this endeavour.

When I visited Nairobi and saw the greenery and nice flowers all over, I wondered how they did it. The driver who was taking me round said that there were stiffer punishments for unauthorised felling of trees.

As individuals, we also can do our bit by planting some trees around us.

    1. I pray we can replicate Kenya's example in every part of the Afrikan continent. Indeed, we all have a role to play in this drive. Thanks

  3. God in His Wisdom entrusted nature to humanity as stewards and co-creators of His marvellous creation.
It's a wake up call now more than ever to set things right as individuals for the betterment of our planet for the common good of all.

The time is act is NOW!
