JANUARY TO DECEMBER

We have heard intriguing news of new beginnings from January to January.

We were told frivolous jokes of our begging state from January to February.

And yet from January to March, we've matched the transitional tricks of our Master's shadows.

From January to April, we've argued our approaches to advance the averse averages in our debts.

From January to May, we marvelled at God's miraculous ways of our merciless murky meandering moves.

From January to June, we juggled and survived the trauma of needless perennial casualties of avoidable disasters.

From January to July, we've judged the jingoistic limping of our economy with some jovial justification of why jetting off to borrow was best.

From January to August, we've adjusted the distasteful grief in our creed of greed which still bleeds the many blessings of our nation.

From January to September, we struggle to step and stumbled on the stables in our salutations.

From January to October, we've organised our outlook and offered our outputs in the hope of outpacing our original projections.

From January to November, we've had a nonstop notorious and noble notion of never giving up on the newness in the nest of days.

From January to December, we've tasted the dedicated deeds in Divine Grace even in the expiry days of our sorrows.

The story of our safety and security was questioned from April to August after some inconsistent explanations were issued.

We have celebrated many happy births of newborns with other occasions while mourning the painful exit of love ones.

From June to July we've heard daring jeers in the 'aluta' for better working conditions.

From March to May, the various low and high tides of life danced with our temperance.

From January to December, many have been maimed through the carelessness of someone, and thereby increasing the tally of the handicapped, orphans, widows, and widowers.

Throughout the year, we've broken many resolutions, promises, and pledges, yet we lived.

Throughout these 364 days, we've seen a lot, heard a lot and we've been through a lot, and yet we still live.

However, the year has been;
However challenging it might have been, I just can't imagine how we've made it?
I can't imagine how our sails navigated through these tense turbulent waves.

But for that friendly deity of ages, who cares;
But for that wondrous kind God, who even feeds the homeless birds before dusk, where will we have been by now?
What will we have said by now?
What versions of stories will we be rendering by now?

Certainly, we have a lot to be thankful for.
So do count your blessings and remember to thank that Supreme Being;
Because if for nothing at all, He's guided our sails this far;
If for nothing at all, He's shown us, LOVE, beyond measure.

I just remembered to thank Him again and again for guiding us safely to this day.

Yes! From January to December let's thank the Most High for travelling mercies and for everything.

Remain blessed.
Greetings
