A smile conveys an unsaid hope in these moments.
Though there may be many shades of smiles, profound smiles exalt our bonds.

I am oblivious of the hurting scenes of your history, and your harrowing experiences;
But I am glad you are able to wear a smile.
I am happy you are able to rise up to the task.
I am pleased you've mustered the courage to live.
I am thankful you are able to show up with a smile to face your challenges.
I am gratified for those who looked out for us.
I am grateful for those who went the extra mile to care.
I am thankful for the opportunity we get to do what we do every day for humanity.

I am appreciative of the support you give to others from time to time.

I am grateful for every leaf that waves at us;
For every ray of sunshine that brightened our path;
For every sweet-smelling rose and other flowers;
For the precious air we breathe in this mile;
For the stars, clouds, and the various weather conditions;
For every raindrop or wind that blows around,
I am grateful for every hug, and every moment spent with you and our neighbours.

I am grateful to the Most High for the gift of our lives and all those who were here a while ago.

Thank you for showing up today and contributing to the betterment of humanity.
In fact, you are the reason I say People are people because of people.

Kindly wear a smile of honour at this moment, because every genuine smile communicates our gratitude to the giver of life.

The numerous concerns about the behaviour of men in certain quarters has affected the development of boys. Even more worrying is the machismo and bravado portrayal of boys character trait. These developments coupled with some socialisation trends has equally fluenced boys and subtly contributed to the death of many men. The celebration of #InternationalBoysDay 2018, which is not a direct response to the #InternationalDayoftheGirlChild 2012, was to encourage teaching and modelling of boys value that include honour and integrity.
