The Decision in Decisions

We make thousands decisions within a day. This is because every one is endowed with that freewill to decide on what to do, when and how to even do it.

However, it's not enough to limit ourselves to making the right or good decisions or choices.
We have to also reflect on the consequences and circumstances motivating our decision and think through the blessings and burden of our decision.
Whichever way we look at it, we ought to pay attention be fully aware of our decisions.

This is because we're products of our decisions. But as leaders at level and in every engagements, we need to reduce the errors of making terrible decisions.

To avoid harvesting the blissful fruits of bad decisions, we ought to be guided by good intentions and the public interest by listening to our conscience and good reason. This is needed because the effects of our decisions could far reaching.

Sometimes we can right the wrongs by reforming or correcting ourselves in order to make amends, while other times we are forced to manage the burden of our somewhat complex decisions years on.

We may have the latitude to effect changes to some temporary decisions, or even manage the unintended outcome of well intentioned programmes, or even reverse a decision in our lives, but we may always be lucky as there are prices we ought to pay in those circumstances.

So in making every decisions exercise patience, careful and make you are duly represented or fully present with all your faculties.

In choosing something, never be in a rush or haste but think through it first.

And please don't make decisions or choices when hungry, angry, happy, sad or when under excessive pressure.
Postpone making weightier decision when in desperate situation, highly emotional or in doubt of the unlikely consequences, and carefully think through the options or implications before you decide.

So please decide to make prudent decisions, because some of these decisions have far reaching effect on you, your friends, your dependants and on the entire country and world at large.

Many are in uncomfortable prisons and desperate conditions, because they were either  unaware of the true implications or ware complicit of their own decisions.

So never make desperate and permanent decisions when you're unaware of the consequences or implications of your decisions.

May God help us make good choices and decisions in our lives.

Greetings
