Your contributions to human exploit are very important.
However, in the new knowledge economy, we have a greater responsibility to appreciate, seek and search for valuable indigenous knowledge of our ancestors.
We have to update our minds with pertinent wealth of current knowledge that will stimulate and enhance our performance in this age.
And we have a duty to identify vital linkages between knowledge of our past, present and future, so that we can still anchor our efforts in shaping our progress on our common future.

Are we alone on this crusade?
Certainly not.
The voices of our ancestors still sing in the aridness of the noisy echoes.
The pulse of heartbeats still ring the thirsty yearnings of living souls eager to drink from the fount of this relevant economy. While the silent notes of the unborn are vibrating the awesome hope to relish and build on the benefits of our knowledge, in oder to fill the loud gaps in portions of our knowledge space.

Though we may adopt and adapt innovative ways to survive, we have to take care NOT to downgrade or neglect our rich Indigenous Knowledge(which may not be in textbooks), but a valuable treasure to behold.

Whatever you do this day, please remember that knowledge can either be positively or negatively used.
Apply what you learnt from yesterday, and maintain sound balance of relevant knowledge and good attitude in order to participate in this knowledge economy. Remain blessed.
