WATCH THE TIME

The events that happened on 6th March 1884, 6th March 1957; 24th February 1966; 31st December 1981; 9th May 2001, 11th September 2001; 3rd June 2015 among others are inked on the slate of time.
Every event or happening in every day occurs within time.
Similar recurring events happen with time. But none escapes the close watch of God the Creator.
Through all ages, time has kept with us.
There is time for everything under the Sun.
There is time to be born and there is time to die.
There's time to enter and there's time to exit.
There is time to laugh and make merry, and there is time to weep and mourn.
There's time to wake up and there is time sleep or rest.
There is time to plant and there's time to harvest.
There are times we become sick, tired and bored, and there are times we become elated, happy and very delighted.
As we embrace the morning glory some hours ago, another Friday evening too is here again.
There is no certainty that we will all be at our various places or spot next year, around the same time.
There is no hundred percent assurance that we can maintain our various positions forever.
It is sad how we sometimes seem to trust in our wealth, and go every length to protect or preserve our positions, forgetting that we would soon vacate those positions.
Sometimes in our strive to attain power, authority and recognition, we don't fully assess the essential favour of time on us. And even  if we are blessed to be aware of it, we sometimes live in self denial and still want to do everything, forgetting that we have a stage called retirement or rest.
Some people even double in reducing their ages just to always be young and keep their positions.
Though the concept of time is valuable, the adage that time waits for no one is so true.
Time is indeed running, so if you have anything to do, do it now.
Prepare for everyday and meet it squarely and please never forget to watch the tide and tale of time.
Observe the trends of time, listen to its rhythms, make mistakes, learn from others and make amends; embrace humility, reform and authentic change, forgive quickly.
At all times be at peace with yourself, your neighbour and your God.
And let nothing stop you from enjoying every moment of the little time we have, even as we pray the Lord to help us number our days on earth.
Be blessed
