RESILIENT CHARACTER

Every individual exhibits a unique character.
Every institution projects a particular character.
Every community and society or system and organisation or nation have a character grounded on certain key fundamental believes, norms, rules, experiences and aspirations.

There is no doubt that our thoughts and consistent practices reflect in our character, and grows into habits which ultimately defines our destiny as a people.

It is also true that our individual character in a way contribute in defining our collective character as a people, be it good or bad.
It is true we may sometimes be choked by the complexities and anxieties of life that could affect our character.

But to build a lasting and resilient character as individuals and as a nation, we must revisit our values of discipline, honesty, integrity and respect that promotes the love for God and country.

The purpose of all training and teachings we have received and continue to learn at our homes, schools, and work places, or from our various places of worship and even from the many people we encounter in life is to help us form good characters and  become better people.

Although we can never say we will not err, it is my hope our character will always reflect the good values we have learned.

May God bless us. Good evening👐🏿🙏🏿
