In the narrative of our aspirations, We remember them either for good or bad. We recall their deeds and accomplishments. In any family and lineage; In every town and village; In any city and country; And even in every organisation and institution; There are the pacesetters and touch bearers, Who understood the guided our paths here? They were women and men with a towering audacity; That breathed sparked energy into our liberation struggles. Beyond the founder co-founders argument, The   nature, confidence, optimism and eccentric attributes of our worthy ancestors need to be interrogated. Besides their bravery and healthy ego to think and act with a purpose despite their disagreement, offers a rich lesson for us to learn from. Like a sunrise,  we too rise to respond to the duty of life. And as sunsets, we either retire from our roles or return to our rooms and roots. It's a fact that in between sunrise and sunset or daytime and nighttime a lot of things happen. Sometimes the burden of our worries, struggles and lamentations often diminish the reality that life itself is a gift. Somehow, we forget to appreciate the little blessings in our lives and the lives of our loved ones. Many a time, we take for granted the fact that we are part of the same humanity and that our actions and inactions affect others. We fight each other and disturb the sanity of others just because our interest is not being served. We sometimes go to every length to bring down others because they don't belong to our camp.  We often peddle half-truths about others and deploy wicked machinations to hurt or kill the dreams of others. In the august gathering of saints and sinners, Active voices of Austin, Augusta, Augustine, Augustina and Augustus, as well as Audrey, Aurelia and Aurelius audaciously advocated for an authentic automatic allotment. And as the attractiveness of Arusha's besuty beacons, the sweet voices of hope also echos through the auditorium of Austria's Burgtheater bringing its newness here. Just as Emperor Augustus Caesar, the grandnephew of Julius Caesar, was honoured by naming this month after him, may you also be honoured in a special way. In our journey through July, you might have heard, experienced and seen alot. But permit me to add that: You are not alone on this journey. You are not the only one experiencing what you are going through. Fact is that we are not mere individuals witnessing separate events. Rather we are events, both influenced by and exerting influence on what we see in front of us daily. It may get bumpier and weirder as well as get exciting. Dear Friday evening, I am so glad we are back together again and reminiscing these unique humbling moments. I am glad you are always present every weekend, with your calm but firm thoughts. I am sorry you are seeing the traces of our sweaty-teary looks which Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, (MTWT siblings) didn't care to whittle down. But I swear you were always on our mind as we missed you. Thank you for coming despite the blurring displeasure of the MTWT siblings. Oh! Fair Friday, as you kindle family reunion and host many with the solidarity emblem in delight and sorrow; please be kind to console those mourning. And gently guide the members of Saint Francis and Glasses Association not to overindulge and miss their way home. Please tell your brothers Saturday and Sunday to extend this weekend and not to hasten things. And kindly spare us the attacks of our friendly enemies of the Amosquitoes of the 5th Battalion. There is a series of seemingly small positive developments in our lives that adds up to something heartwarming and reassuring. And an appreciation of these small mercies and small steps that account for the progress made in certain areas of our lives is appropriate. It's in line with this that we are required to express GRATITUDE to the Most High for his countless mercies in our lives.  The attitude of gratitude for the numerous moments of mercies, graces, blessings and even challenges is in order. Permit me to also acknowledge YOU (including your forebears and collaborators), for your prayers, support, goodwill, time and suggestion. Thank you for tolerating and believing in us.
