WHISPERS OF INSPIRATION

Our understanding of issues differ. Our perception of others differs, the same way the impression we give others about ourselves. We often "condemn people not because we know they have done something evil, but because we don't know the truth about them". Sometimes, we see what we want to see in people base on our different interpretations, conception, and conjectures of who they are and what we have been exposed to. We are mostly ignorant of others we presume to judge, condemn and crucify. We are mostly too quick to conclude or we are perhaps inconsiderate of others that we somehow fail to take the trouble to find out what they really mean by their actions and speeches. The priceless truth is that we are gradually becoming a people, who want others to listen to our point of views without actually listening to others. And whenever we listen to others, it's in order to reply and not to respond. Perhaps we can do ourselves a lot of good and save ourselves from man

Our quest to explore and live, Brings us closer to some realities. We often find good examples in these realities of our various stories. As the Sun glides along the horizon, We still have a duty to remember the worthy examples of others and those who engineered them in our lives. It's with these sentiments of gratitude, That I'd like to remember you for your efforts. Yes! I remembered you in my reflection today, And I just want to thank you for your good examples. I remember you in your efforts to build a good name which your family, friends and society will be proud of. Thank you for being you. Thank you for your concern. Thank you for your kindness. Today was a dream held yesterday, That we looked forward to. You and I were innocent dreams too, prior to our birth, But blessed with this day to touch this reality of life anew. Even as we strive to be our best in this challenging times, Let's watch our steps so we may avoid slipping. It is my prayer the love of a thousand angels be with you. When you feel like speaking to someone, please do, because chances are that they are having the same thoughts. Whenever you have the urge to visit someone, please do, because that might be the last encounter. When good tides blow in your direction today, please remember to thank whoever contributed to that possibility. When you are drenched in the rain, and the incessant storms come to you, Do remember you are being prepared for a greater task. Whenever your eyes are teary and your heart is sad, Remember happy days are coming. Whenever you are abused, ridiculed and disrespected, Remember that there is something good in you, you must cherish. Whenever your plans take a nose dive, kindly keep your cool and remember God is redirecting your path. Whenever things seem meaningless and don't make sense, please Remember to remain calm while seeking ways to connect and consult your Creator. Your ideal view of the future is worth defending. Your vision in this mission is necessary to preserve. Committing to your aspirations is a good thing to do. Listening to wise counsel and the voice within is a needful duty. There is something in your name you must protect. There is something in your character you must consolidate. There is something in our comradeship we must preserve. There is something in our connectivity with the Supreme Being, we must observe. Connection is critical to our survival. Our existence is conjoined with others. So in our communities, we realise that we are because of others. You are essentially a human being, because I am, and I am because you are. The late Joseph Hills (Culture) a reggae artist puts it succinctly : 'No one man is an island and no man stands a alone'. And since time immemorial human beings have lived, walked, talked and moved. These movements have seen tremendous increase because of our need to live, work, and survive. Although there are different layers of engagement in these spaces in our markets and interactions, we cannot heavily curtail or avoid some glitches. It's common knowledge we would scratch each other in our connections, and we must find ways to deal with them. We there are good people out there, and there equally bad people too. We probably know that in this lifetime, each of us is here for a reason. It is a fact that sometimes, we may know where exactly we're going and even have a well-thought-out plan to live the purpose of our lives. Often time, we know the steps to take to get there. However, sometimes we may be unsure of when, how and what to do. Other times, we may be lost, stuck or be in limbo on how to even meander through. Our visions of where we’d like to be or go could be blurred, or maybe our vision still eludes us and we could just be moving the moments. But whatever happens in the turns and curves of life, please keep learning and keep believing in Divine Providence. Since there are different perspectives to life, it's still expedient to keep an open mind and keep working towards our betterment.  Even if we feel lost in the uneven currents of this sail, may we never give up but strive to connect with ourselves, our aspirations and our God to keep our hopes alive.
