It's a mild morning of a new year, when the beautiful beams of the sun smiled anew with a renewed golden hope. The anticipated exciting energy that accompanied the morning moments wasn't same in the Gbawe- Lapaz bound trotro bus I boarded that morning of 14 January 2024. The bus Conductor accused one passenger of not paying the fare. The well dressed fellow who spoke undiluted English defended himself stressing that he had paid earlier with Conductor giving him a change. The guy who got angry at the Conductor's insistence of non- payment asked: DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? DO YOU KNOW ME? The Conductor retorted: WHO ARE YOU? Is your father the President of Ghana? Masa pay me the fare and stop this Do you know me business oo. Although the matter was settled with another passenger offering to pay the fare, thoughts of DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM lingered on my mind for a while. The other day someone even added that the 'Do You Know Me' phrase is old fashioned and ...

Reflect on your peculiar condition that influence your the choices. Reflect on the difficulties or failures which spurred you on. Reflect on the bad times that informed your resolve. Reflect on the days you felt sick which helped you value your health. While appreciating what we have become through these experiences, we ought to appreciate the Most High for HIS Care.  Besides the core people in our lives, there is this mysterious loving God at work. Thank God for the gift of our unique Bodies, Thank the Most High for giving each of us 37.2 trillion cells in our bodies.  Thank Atibluku for blessing each of us with 79 organs. Thanks to Nana Nyame for giving each of us 12 organ systems.  Thanks to Mawusogbolisa for gifting us the ability of communicating with each other. Thanks to  Ataa-Naa Nyɔŋmɔ for giving us cognitive and creative abilities.  Thanks to Naawuni for blessing us with consciousness, and self-awareness. Thanks to Nyamenle for giving each of us the free Will, ethics, and morality. Thanks to the Most High for supporting our unique cultural and technological development.  For making us in His Divine Image, and breathing the BREATHE of LIFE in us, we are externally grateful.
