Sacrificing for Our Progress

Are we sacrificing for a good course or a bad one?
Are we satisfied with the sacrifices we are making today?
Is the level of our sacrifices worthy of emulation?

In our everyday life, we breath it.
It is present in our daily struggles to succeed.
We even embrace it in our attempt to reach our dreams.
We also live it, whenever we make choices or decisions in every situation.

In fact, every grain of grace comes with a silent requirement of sacrifice.
Every pursuit or endeavour requires a significant sacrifice of time, resources and efforts.
Sacrifice is often hidden in our steps to live our duties, roles, rights and responsibilities.
Though some contend that there is sacrifice in our desire or when we decide to do nothing in this life,
The fact is that there is no accomplishment under the sun πŸ”† without some level of sacrifice.

Yes, there is an element of sacrifice in every story or history.
And even though I might not know the true price of sacrifice in everyone's story or life, we are reminded of the sacrifices of our ancestors and parents.
We are reminded of several significant sacrifices made by great leaders of nations and in many fields.
We are equally reminded of the sacrifices our parents, relatives, friends and teachers made and are making in our lives and their impact on our lives and others.

By rising from bed today, you made an effort.
You require a certain sacrifice to move from your bed to your workplace, school or wherever you go in a day.

While appreciating you for the sacrifices you are making, permit me to add that whatever sacrifice we make today, let's remember the ripple effect it has on others.

Beyond the immediate gains of what we do, let our sacrifices help us leave lasting legacies to inspire others.
Let the sacrifices we live daily spur a patriotic spirit in our hearts so that we will work for the betterment of our nation and not sacrifice the priceless possibilities for growth.
Take care and have a blessed day.
Good afternoon 🌞
