☄TITLES IN TITLE☄

Every name has a meaning and a reason.

Anyone with a name assumes some form of repute or responsibility in any society. 

The meanings ascribed to each name differ.  

Often the accolade in some names come with titles.

Although this generation is accused of having an overbearing sense of entitlement to every right, perhaps it is vital to interrogate the whys. 

That said,  it is instructive that people with titles of claim and titles of qualification lives. 

There are titles of fame and pompous titles self-worth. 

There are titles of honour and titles of recognition and reward. 

There are titles of appreciation that somehow makes nonsense of distinct titles. 

There are needless titles of class that only implicate our desire to serve. 

There are funny titles of the prestige we either acquire through our desire for attention.

Our actions to influence things in certain areas with these titles even chase us to the grave. 

Even though these titles are supposed to serve a purpose in our society, the rate of abuse of these names and titles is disturbing. 

As a result, a contest of mere titles or priced titles, as well as mischievous and saintly titles, loudly amplifies our quest for power.

And even as we cannot confirm whether we all merit the award of these titles we assume, a sober reflection of the trapping in these titles should help us become better.

Whatever title or titles we bear in this life, let us not forget that it is for the greater service to people(humanity) who bestows them on us. 

So let us not abuse the honour in our various titles of our stewardship and position. 

May God bless us with humble hearts so we can offer true service for the good of all.
