Responsible Action

I know you already know that expectation is as good as possibilities yet to birth. But while contemplating your expectations please remember to take ACTION, however, little there may be today.
The last time I checked, we must make the effort to roll up our sleeves and go to the arena of action to create something that our future will bless us.
Like Prof. P.L.O Lumumba, I am also submitting that Afrikans (especially we the young ones) have an eternal duty to change Afrika, and we are not going to do it by just Twitting, posting any stuff on Instagram or sharing anything on social media platforms, no. We are going to do it by taking greater responsibility for our actions and by evolving an integrated approach that would help us build a beautiful future for ourselves and our children's children.

That said, we must consciously elevate our attitude from being excessively petty and undisciplined to making a little effort, at all times. This is because as Maya Angelou observed our mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive with some passion, some compassion, some humour, and some style. And we can not let ourselves down.

As we walk in this wakeful reality of this day, may we not just act to survive but to invest in ourselves, and in the greater humanity, as well as in sustainable ventures in our honour, for our children's children, and in gratitude to our forebears for their sacrifices. This way we would be building a giving ourselves the future we yearn for ages ago.

Wishing you a wonderful day.
Greetings
