Working Together for Afrika's Renaissance

We heard the merits and demerits in our lamentations.
We are aware of our deadly stereotypes nibbling at our progress.
We are aware of the benefits, working together for our common vision will inure to us, but we prefer the perks and expensive money from our colonial masters.
We are aware of the risk and toils our forefathers went through to get us here, but we appear to have betrayed their worthy motive.
We live in the sunshine of our graceful wealth and yet we are the least beneficiary of these abundant gifts.
We're aware of our own failings and the forces that work against our efforts to integrate and stay united.

We are also aware of our own acts of petty politicking that is working against us.

It's a fact that our liberation struggle is still on and we have an arduous task to finish the unfinished agenda of our liberation.
As Robert Nestor Marley echoed in his Redemption Song, we all have a duty to "emancipate ourselves from mental slavery, none but ourselves can free our mind..."

In his book: Africa Must Unite, Osagyefo Dr. Kwame Nkrumah reminds us that, "the forces that unite us are intrinsic and greater than the superimposed influences that keep us apart..."p. 221.
"In a world divided into hostile camps and warring factions, Africa cannot be divided without going to the wall"p.147
He added: "Pan-Africa and not Eurafrica should be our watchword, and the guide to our policies,"p. 187
We need to redouble efforts, to grow our unity, and to be self-reliant.
We should be thinking beyond the present situation of COVID-19, to build resilience, and prepare to address our challenges.

"Africa should no longer be satisfied with this role of the never-ending reservoir for some,
and dumping ground for others."

I celebrate the Afrikan in you.
I celebrate your intellectual dignity which is key to pursuing the genuine rebirth and stability of our dear Afrikan Continent.
So Arise Dear Sons and Daughters of Afrika.
Arise, Dear Comrades, and keep your flames burning.
I am because You are,
You are because I am.

Greetings
